New ENTRANTS 2026

Entry to Year R in September 2026

National offer day for entry to Year R in September 2026 was on Thursday 16th April. Information has been sent to parents of children who have been offered a place with details of next steps. We look forward to welcoming you to the school community.

Our 'First Steps' parent meetings were held in school on 16th & 17th June. If you were unable to attend, a copy of the presentation can be found below.

Tuesday 16th June 2pm - 3pm Wednesday 17th June 2pm - 3pm	Independent Discovery Time & First Steps Information Session Your child is invited for an independent discovery session taking place in our classrooms and outside learning spaces. During this session we will be holding a 'First Steps' Information session for parents and carers in our school hall. You will be notified of your session time prior to this visit.
Tuesday 30th June 9.30 - 11am or 9.45am - 11.15am	Whole school move up day Your child is invited into school to visit for a short session in their classroom. You will be notified of your session time prior to this visit. At the end of the session, from 11.15am, CLACA - The Court Lane Infant School Community Association - have arranged a teddy bears picnic at Drayton Park where you can meet other parents and children starting in September 2026
Friday 4th / Monday 7th / Tuesday 8th September	Home Visits Your child's teacher and teaching assistant will visit your home to give you and your child an opportunity to talk about starting school. Time slots will be around 10 minutes. You will be notified of a time slot prior to this visit.
9th - 11th September	First Days of School Your child will be invited to attend school for either a morning or an afternoon session. Morning sessions: 8.25am - 11.30am Afternoon sessions: 1.30pm -3.15pm
From Monday 14th September	All children will attend school full time.
